Century Maritime Begins Working with navIQore

Century Maritime deploys navIQore on-premises across a fleet of four sister bulk carriers, giving its operations and technical teams real-time visibility into noon reporting, charter-party compliance and vessel performance.

Context
Century

Century Maritime becomes one of navIQore's first commercial customers, deploying the platform across a fleet of four sister bulk carriers — 180,000 DWT vessels built in 2009 at DSME — to give its operations and technical teams a single, real-time view of vessel performance.

The cooperation was shaped by two clear operational goals. For Century's operations department, navIQore replaces manual, Excel-based reporting with real-time visibility into noon-report data: reports are automatically verified against live telemetry, and monitoring tasks previously built from scratch as spreadsheets and forms are now standard, always-on views — including continuous tracking of Charter Party Agreement (CPA) compliance. For the technical department, the focus is performance monitoring: comparing observed fuel consumption against speed using the reference curves established in chartering, so that overconsumption and hull- or propeller-condition issues can be identified early rather than discovered after the fact.

Because Century prefers to keep its operational data on-premises, navIQore was deployed on a dedicated virtual machine within Century's own infrastructure rather than a shared cloud environment — one of several integration models the platform supports without changing how it is used day to day.

The first vessel was integrated in a single day, with navIQore engineers attending on-site at the Salamina repair area to connect bridge instruments, the torque meter, the flow meter and the draft-indicating system directly into the platform. The remaining three sister vessels are scheduled for integration over the coming months, extending the same real-time visibility across the full fleet.

“navIQore tracks our CPAs and intelligently monitors compliance, accounting for weather exclusions and routing provider overrides.”
